Riding On The River

A great way to learn about San Antonio is
to take a barge ride. You'll see and hear about
many historic places while touring the Riverwalk
from a duck's perspective. Groups can also arrange to
be served dinner on the trip.

Critters

I found this male/female pair of wood ducks happily
splashing about in a puddle at the Japanese Tea Gardens.
The squirrel was posing for me at Brackenridge Park.

The Guadalupe River

The jewel of the Texas Hill Country, this
river has more fun per mile than any other.
Take a tube/raft ride and you'll see what I mean.
Clear, cool water and beautiful scenery.




When you get out at the end of your journey,
explore the historic town of Gruene for shopping,
food, and music.

Fiesta Tower

This incredible sculpture dominates
the second floor of San Antonio's downtown
central library.
By artist Dale Chihuly, it features over a thousand
pieces of custom-made glass.
