The entrance to the port passes under this big steel highway bridge.Six months ago the cops that saw me would have prevented my shooting the port due to Homeland Security bullcrap but now we are seeing a return to sanity thanks to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) who is fighting the good fight on behalf of hassled photographers in the USA.
It all started in DC's Union Station, and now the rules are being enforced in our favor again, they way they've always been written.
Photography is Legal in public places like airports, train stations and ports.
Hopefully all the overzealous cops and rentacops will get the word soon and stop being nazis.
Too bad we'll never get apologies for all the harassment and overtly agressive enforcement of non-existant laws.
