A Tired Mess

It's been a long and busy week.
Have driven across a fair piece of Texas in the last 48 hours and not quite done with it.
I'm satisfied with just working again, but when the work is also this nice I have to give thanks and pray that the rest of 2012 is much more of the same.

Going from gas station sandwiches for breakfast to gourmet catered backstage grub for supper was a bit of a shock at first, but I can get used to the good life pretty quick and act like it's no big deal.

More to come...

There is just something so cool about the view of that soundboard. Takes me back to being in the A/V club in high school working band concerts and drama club plays. Of course, none of the equipment was as sophisticated back then. I think it was a 12 channel Peavy mixer, a guy with a spot light and several filtered klieglights that could be on or off!

And they were running out of channels for us! Yeah, Dave, for some of us sound and light gear is just cool and sexy. It DOES neat stuff, and it's like being in a small exclusive club when you get to play with it.
